Zeolite clay is rich in silicon, calcium, potassium and iron. It has the ability to attract positively charged ions to its negatively charged ions this helps neutralise and absorb toxins from the skin. With all these great benefits I’m not surprised to have found that it’s also great for using in a face or body masque. You can go to almost any spa and get a mud masque of some sort and it’s a practice that people have been doing for centuries. In this application the zeolite is able to cleanse skin and help to remove impurities while calming redness and soothing irritated skin. Even as a fine powder, it could also be used as a gentle exfoliant by rubbing the mask in a circular motion on the face and then rinsed off instead of allowing to dry.
Benefits: French yellow clay is considered to be a powerful detoxifier which draws out impurities from the body while the essential minerals within the clay are released. It stimulates the circulation of blood and lymph, removes dead skin cells, and tones and strengthens connective tissues to leave skin smooth, fresh and radiant. A perfect ally to zeolite.

The ginkgo tree is an extremely tough, long-lived tree that dates back about two hundred and fifty million years. It first originated in China and Japan. The leaves of Ginkgo Biloba plant has been used in the Chinese traditional medicine for centuries. The main chemical substances in the leaves of Ginkgo Biloba are the flavone glycosides and therpene lactones.

I add essential oils to the blend to improve the products skin regeneration benefits. Frankincense essential oil is a powerful astringent, meaning it helps protect skin cells. It can be used to help reduce acne blemishes, the appearance of large pores, prevent wrinkles, and it even helps lift and tighten skin to naturally slow signs of aging. I also added Helichrysum essential oil in this anti-aging skincare masque, it targets fine lines and wrinkles. Helichrysum oil can be used to help promote healthy skin cell regeneration and a glowing, youthful complexion.
Directions: Activate dry powder by mixing it with purified water (or rosewater) until a thick paste is formed.
For best results use a brush applicator to apply.
