A day to honour.

It is a day to honour.
Many of my family members entered into the UK Army and Navy. Several sacrificed their own lives in service. We bred some tough stock in my Family. My Grandad gathered many well earned medals. I was, and always shall be so proud of him as he is now with the Lord in service still. Residing in the USA I see such courage and commitment amongst those who serve here. It is a privilege to encounter so many great men and women that dedicate their lives for a great country also and to their people. You are honoured every single day, now and past. x
John 15:13 also says, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends". In this verse, Jesus commands his followers to love each other as he has loved them.
Dear Lord, Today we honor our veterans, worthy men and women who gave their best when they were called upon to serve and protect their country. We pray that you will bless them for their unselfish service in the continual struggle to preserve our freedoms, our safety, and our country's heritage, for all of us.
